All our showers are custom made to suit your individual needs.

Unless specified all our showers are made from 10mm toughened safety glass and come standard with a Chrome polished “D” handle and chrome polished hinges.

Normally we install onto tiles, however we can pretty much construct a Frameless Glass shower on any water proof substrate, i.e existing or new shower trays, glass back showers etc.

Our quoted prices, unless specifically stated, includes measure, installation and standard fittings.

It can be done in several ways.

The most common is ”channel fixing” where we adhere and seal a small channel to the tiles on the floor and up the wall and fix the glass panels into this channel.

This channel does not extend under the door which is left clear.

In certain applications the channel is fitted before tiling and after the tiling is completed the channel is glazed. This method is less favoured today as it is very hard to stop mechanical damage to the channel during tiling and because it is adhered to the waterproof membrane under the tiles, any movement of the channel can compromise the integrity of the waterproofing.

In our experience the best way to keep the shower looking good for many years is for the last person out of the shower to wipe it down with their damp towel.

The towel performs two functions: it removes the large water drops which helps stop the minerals out of the water damaging the glass and it cleans and polishes the glass and fittings at the same time.

Frameless glass showers are produced to very close tolerances and are usually custom made.

The toughened safety glass they are made from cannot be cut or altered once it is toughened, so if the shower changes size more than a few milimetres the shower glass may not fit.

We always fit our showers as it is a specialist job that takes quite some time to master and is not something that can be done well by someone without specialist tools and experience.
